Exam Abuse (Poem.)

Exams kept me from you,
Family time tarnished,
Curse you Henry Fischel!
Devising a system so varnished,
Promising riches
To those who follow.

A shooting star opened my eyes!
And curses sang,
On you of schools,
And curses to,
The ones who followed!

A student's sorrow,
A student's morrow,
Left a gap,
A childhood hollow,
Curse you Henry Fischel!!
Invented a Midas touch and,
Ruined colourful tomorrows.

The story behind the poem;
This week were my tests. Surprise tests if you may let me add. Those were breezy enough, but equally keeping from reading poems to one my lady friends I'm trying to woo. Ah, the circle of my life๐Ÿ˜ช.

Henry Fischel you see is the inventor of exams they say. I've read he was a professor in some university, and read in another place that he was a businessman of sorts. Only he knows. I'm sure his intentions were good and he had no idea how abused his good idea would be in the hands of educational bodies. Whenever I hear kids have no time to play because studies are hectic, I'm disappointed. If you're a teacher reading this, wont you please consider keeping your study to the classroom and give kids a chance to know their parents better?!

Oh Freiya. (poem)

As black as wells,
Mine eyes you guage....
Art thou not mesmerised?
Oh freiya?

Silly Two-Sentence-horror stories...

๐Ÿง€You know, that stunt double really pulled it off with the bleeding scene, the actor said...
Oh, that turned out to be a failed suicide attempt on his end the assistant whispered

๐ŸŸSohana couldn't believe she'd had won a blind-date with a Bollywood celebritiy. A car was to pick her up.
                Salman Khan was driving.

๐Ÿ–Headaches were getting common at the doctor's cabin.
Should've checked if that cheap paint was lead-free. It wasn't.

๐Ÿ”The prescription company announced a Golden pill lottery in one of their medicine wraps.
They would reclaim it from the suffocated was the plan.

Friend, like Climate (Poem)

Climate, I desire
Weather is people's minds,
How quickly it changes,
I fear being
Left behind,
Hold my hand when I'm afraid,
Climate you are to me.

You see, weather changes quickly, and climate stays the same for long right? I was describing how I see an ideal friend's moods. Stable as climate, patient and mindful when listening, not fluctuating so quickly as the weather.

Off Schedule

It's been five days. I was eager to type it down yesterday. This journal has a book review and some computer programme reviews...

๐Ÿ“’ATOMIC HABITS is a productivity centric one. (The author boasts about his credibility, something the book ๐Ÿ“—'Fuck anxiety' talks about explicitly. The authors rightfully believe earning the reader's trust beforehand is a nice move.) Coming to the main parts, aka what 'Atomic habits' narrates...

๐Ÿ‰1. Literally Distance yourself for the habits you wanna quit. Hiding the trigger objects helps.

๐ŸŠ2. Start small. Microscopic. Try in the smallest doses first. I'm trying my hand on video editing currently, and I'm doing it super slow. It'll become a habit.

๐Ÿฅ3. Associate one pleasant action with your goal. A good example was trying pushups just before lunch, as soon as I close the laptop. It's so specific the instructions, necessarily so.

๐Ÿ„4. Journaling, and maintaining attendance... maintaining regular progress. A day off is alright. Two consecutive days though, breaks habit.
๐Ÿฅฆ5. refining your system to get on with better habits is most productive. Like, hiding cigarettes and keeping the yoga mat in sight.

๐Ÿฅ‘6. The four laws : Make it obvious, make it attractive, make it easy, and make it satisfying.

Ummm... Do I need to read it again? I feel like I'm not crystal clear with the definitions.

๐Ÿ’ป Coming to the computer programmes... I tried my hand on Video-Editing for my short movie 'An Interview with the mirror'. Davinci resolve is not the easiest to learn. Hitfilm express can be simpler. Heck all the video editing programmes can use bigger buttons. Conversely I tried AutoCAD too. It's used to design models of everything. It was pretty good. Easier. If ever you wanna design your own home, do it yourself. Learning it doesn't take more than a week imo. You'll be proud of yourself with the design.

That's what I did for five days. Audiobooks and exercise, and computers and shows. I'll give you a recommendation... 'The Godfather of Harlem'. It's a Gangster show... Based on Bumpy Johnson. There's even a movie on him. It's American Gangster. I'm high on Gangster content. Not the violent part of it, but how those men dress themselves. I admire the authority they command. Am I phrasing it right?

I'll tell you how I feel about the more famous Gangster content in the coming ones. Laters world๐Ÿ‘‹

Interview With a Mirror sounds great!

I talk on instant messaging now. Currently Writing a script called 'Interview With the Mirror'. It'll be me talking to my alter-ego in the reflection. I intend to keep it a plain interview from the 70s. Buster Keaton movies were an inspiration. Also a random 'Marlon Brando' Interview. The production quality is not very good in those, however the story carries the show like a riverbed carries a river. Smooooth.

Marlon Brando is the guy who played Vito Corleone in The Godfather. I'll watch his movies in the upcoming days. They say he's one of the best actors. He was a good person too. Spoke much on equal rights and misrepresentation of the minority races. Even rejected a freaking oscar. On the evening he was called to the stage, a native-indian actress represented him with his words on some pages. She spoke Brando's words, about how the then-hollywood misrepresented the native-indian folks. She got done for that. Bummer right.
Onto more pleasant things... Mangoes never disappoint. Uncle got us a plenty many fruits. Straight from the trees... Someone was apparently selling straight from the tree. Couldn't taste fresher mangoes. The gift of summer. A friend so rightfully pointed that the sweetest fruits show in summers. That kinda blew me away for how right it sounds.
I got to finish audiobooks too. One of those was 'Way of the wolf' by the OG wolf of wall street. Jordan Belfort. It might be his first book for it reads like it. A similar book "Never Split the Difference" is clearer. Both the books tell you to
๐Ÿฅญ1. Keep a clam tone while talking. Like a late-night radio host/ FM dj.
๐Ÿ‡2. Know who you're talking to. Know his passions and religion. (And shape your words accordingly)
๐ŸŠ3. Tell him what kind of thing you're gonna say. Like, "After hearing this you might punch me," or "After our conversation, You'll be glad you know me" Basically make him hope for the worst.
๐Ÿ4. Mirror/repeat his last few words.
๐Ÿ5. Label his emotions. Like, tell him what the convo feels like... "It feels like you're not getting recognized," and or "It sounds like you're looking forward to fix this".
๐ŸŽ6. The word 'NO' from the other guy greatly forwards your convo in the right direction. The word 'Fair' is your secret weapon. End your pitch with that word. "It sounds fair right?", "it looks like a fair deal", "It's only fair if I stick to it".
๐Ÿฅ7. Ask open ended questions instead of plain Yes or No ones. Like, your question must have long answers, answers like 'yes' and 'no' won't do. 'What' and 'How' are preferred starters. Avoid the imposing 'Why'.

Would you Look at that! I remember seven freaking points from the books! It's such an improvement from the previous book review. Surely I couldn't remember evvvverything... These are major things to remember however. Remember.
I just set a reminder to write every four days. So, see you in four days world. That is, if there isn't a zombie apocalypse or something similar. Laters now๐Ÿ‘‹

Just, moving on. (poem)

Nods his head,
Smiles,
Snaps his finger,
Moves on.

It could be bad,
it could be massacre,
but he moves on, upon
his garden without shoes on,
without a bulldozer, no massacre.

A garden of roses
and peonies waiting
in full bloom to be pluck
for someone in between
making cups of themselves
filled with nectar for sherbet,
so fragrant so charming, so darling in waiting.

Poem

A hypnotising fire

O Pirate! (poem)

Wonder as you please,
A pirate I might be,
Carrying treasures more valuable than Gold,
Delusional to the world,
fool's gold to men who hate,
The Treasure of love!
Hearts that still beat,
Yet skip some when I emerge,
Better late From the cloudy dock,
Fighting my battles for youse,
Ever victorious.

Comforting voice. (poem)

I'll take you far if it helps forget
if Snaps and claps don't alleviate,
I'll sing to you,
People swore they found oblivion,
In my voice, magnetic meridian
Where the compass loops
So traditional and not so much,
Home is what I sing and such.

It doesn't take time
It'll take you home.
We'll roam and It'll be a stroll
You're closer now.
Close your eyes! You see it now.

Oceans of tea

A billionaire wants to drain all the tea powder and leaves in the ocean. He wants everyone to taste tea, and has other plans too. People all over the world rebel. He says he's tested it on fish and it's safe for them. Fish can already swim in tea. He fills hundreds of containers full of tea to dump in the summer.
      Now this might have consequences.
Changes in monsoons and frequent acid rains?. A refiltered ocean in three months. An overcharged supercharged caffeinated marine life for that period. Beaches, islands and natural rock structures formed totally naturally of (drained and) dryer tea powder! This turned out to be the eighth wonder of the world!

Calm the Darkness Brings

It's a purple night. There's figures walking slowly to the same direction in the woody savanna. They seem tired. Breathing air, exhaling steam. Or cold breathe. I recognise that shadowy old woman over there. It's muna. She's walking too.
Each figure seems to have decided. They have such clarity. Obstacles seem invisible. To me too. It is rocky someplace, and bushy of soft grass in the majority. I'd like to stay here. It's my destination. I've reached it. All my stubbornness has brought me here. This place is calm. Peaceful. Not overwhelming. Perfectly whelming. I breathe the fresh cold. There must be fields of lavender nearby. Soothing fragrances are mixed in the air. Doing their thing. The Godess Bilquis' Market must be nearby. She's proud of the scents the market leaks. Smokes and wines. Musks too. Peace at last.

15/5/2021

We went to the cemetery today morning to Baba. It was a windy morning. I Felt a bond, felt like he was asking me questions and I answered. Asked how the family was and I said good. Told me to eat good.

Did some shadow-boxing and recorded myself. Put that up on youtube and pulled it down because of twice the filters applied made it look overly colourful. I know first video doesn't matter much for anyone else.

I wanted to finish the rest of that autocad course but flet asleep mid-noon. Had a boiled-egg and wrote to a good friend on slowly. "Slowly" you see is a messaging app that takes dynamic time to send letters based on how far the person is. Just like regular post. It's wonderful. Highly recommend.
I came to know about Auroville and the Golden dome of it. It's funded by the UNICEF or some organisation on the basis of helping an 'experimental' society thrive. It was established in the 60s I think. So long for a society to pass out of an 'experiment'. The Town's folks have equal salaries! From what I saw, It is just perfect for extroverted people, those who like company.

Auroville reminds me of spas. I'd like a massage someday. And I'd like to give massages too. Comforting people is quite rewarding. My mind makes that chemical making me feel good. How I'd like to make homes for those who don't have those. Ah! I just started a Property management company... I'm the only person to do so in a town of 85,000+ people. By my math, if I'm able to make around 500₹ profit by renting from one and Leasing to another, (Idk the term for that yet) I'd have to list 100 properties to make 50,000! It sounds unrewarding, but if I made a franchisee out of that, then it'll work out fine for the future of my family.๐ŸคžHere's to hoping.
